As the time is nearing on the premiere of the video, I find myself going thru all those same emotions I felt waiting for this other little video called Sfumato to come out. I had watched the teaser hundreds of times and know it by heart. The day it was released I made my parents drive me an hour away to the closest boat dealer to pick it up. I was shaking with anticipation to see my heroes at work. All these same sweet emotions have been rushing back over me the last few days and it feels good.  It’s been some of the most fun and the best memories of life spending time with my old heroes and meeting some new ones. It’s truly been an honor to be a part of this video. Thanks a ton to Aaron and Danny for letting some fan club kid from Texas be apart of the next big thing. So tomorrow night have a few beers and enjoy yourself its going to be an awesome ride.

Everyone is killing it posting, hopefully Travis and Balzer show up to the party. We need all the help we can get over here, did you see Matt Hooker Week over at the Remote site!?!?!??! Those guys were on fire there for awhile, nothing like old school footage of Hooker dunking and ordering ketchup like he only knows how.

Congratulations to Mr. Hyam’s for winning the Kansas City stop of the Monster Wake Park tour or whatever it’s called. Congrats are also in order and I don’t thin have ever been given to Grant for getting second at Nationals. Way to go team! All up in this competition thing. I head to Orlando tomorrow and am leaving the Keys behind for quite some time. Back to the real world and straight into the pressure cooker. The countdown is on for the video and Reed and I are really starting to feel the heat. I head to Texas on Friday with a one way ticket to get this shit done and then Reed and I are driving back. Everyone keep your fingers crossed.

I’m here in Kansas for Stop 2 of Monster’s Wake Park Triple Crown. I haven’t been here in years so it was nice to be able to come back and do some circles. Melissa and I had a lovely dinner at Hooters which was walking distance from the hotel. That was a first for us but Earl and Carter made it a memorable one.
