Good times were had on our recent trip to the Keys. Dan “Pitbull” Hampson really proved to be a great trip leader. His hard nosed approach was just what we needed to get stuff done, just like my favorite Big Dogs shirt says, “If you can’t hang with the Big Dogs, stay on the Porch.” Even though Dan is a true purebred red nose he still likes cats A LOT, which is kind of strange. Jackie and Tim Hampson as always were amazing hosts and our best times on the trip were certainly down in the Keys enjoying some of the amazing Florida weather. I don’t want to let the “cat out of the bag” on the story too much since Senior Obscura Print Journalist Tony Smith will have all the details coming your way soon in one the magazines. I wanted to update the site everyday of the trip but Wifi connections proved elusive. I think we got some good shots on film and I can’t wait to get them back but for now enjoy a few shots from my Iphone of all the fun had.
DVS/Obscura painter hats were a hit!

Grant feeling good after flipping the tire for a record 100 times. Little did he know Aaron was about to take him out and make him his slave for the day

Aaron on his way to 103 tire flips to take out Grant. Grant should’ve known, Aaron’s calves were voted best in the business. (Wake Fitness Magazine, Feb 2007)

Hear ye, Hear ye, let it be known that Plaid Flannel is a trademark of the Obscura team and should not be copied by any winching wakeboarders with a boy band name that hail from Texas. No hate, let’s just keep confusion to a minimal.
Aaron talking about how “Stuart, Fl used to be back in my day” with our cab driver

Grant and the Pitbull sharing a seat on the way to the hottest club in Stuart
Grant and Travis. Rookie Love

Getting busted in Stuart, Aaron once again talking about “the good old days in Stuart” with whoever will listen to him

In looking through Dan’s infinite collection of wake magazines at his home in the keys I found two that looked mighty similar, headbands and pokes still strong 4 years later.
Gwant woves to pway games at StevieB’s pizza buffet. He’s just a wittle guy in a big big world
